Common questions
Pricing, Quotes and the $65 Off
How does your upfront fixed pricing work?
We assess the job on site, then give you one number covering the whole repair before any tools come out. That figure doesn't move once you've agreed to it, whether the job takes longer than expected or turns out simpler than we thought.
What payment options do you offer?
Card and bank transfer both work on the day, and payment happens once the job's done and you're satisfied with it. We'll confirm the details when we quote so there's nothing to sort out under pressure.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. It costs nothing to have us come out and take a look, even if the job turns out to be something small or nothing at all.
Does the price change once you start?
No. Whatever figure you sign off on is what lands on the invoice at the end. Should something genuinely unexpected come up, we pause and walk you through the options before going any further.
Common questions
The Legal Stuff, Made Simple
Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?
Yes, every plumber and gas fitter we send holds the right licence for the work, gas included. We wouldn't put anyone on a gas job who isn't properly qualified for it.
Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?
Simple things, sure, a washer swap or a plunger attempt. Once it involves the water, drainage or gas system itself, NSW rules put that work in a licensed plumber's hands, partly for safety and partly to keep your insurance valid.
Can you check my licence number?
Yes, we're licensed under #465156C, and you're welcome to verify it independently through NSW Fair Trading before we start any work.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
Every repair we complete is guaranteed for life. If our workmanship fails down the track, we come back and fix it properly, no argument and no separate charge.
Common questions
Response, Timing and Booking
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes, a real person answers whenever you call, not an automated system. Genuine emergencies get a plumber moving the same day wherever we can manage it.
How fast can you get here?
It depends on the job and where you are, but most callouts get a same-day response. Call (02) 9054 3067 and we'll give you an honest timeframe rather than a guess.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Active damage happening right now is the clearest signal: a burst pipe, zero hot water, a gas smell, or a drain sending water back into the house. If it's stable rather than getting worse, a normal booking usually covers it.
How do I book?
Call (02) 9054 3067 directly, that's the fastest way. A callback form is also there if you'd rather leave your details and have us ring back.
Common questions
Working In and Around Fairfield
How local are you, really?
Fairfield's home turf, and this side of Sydney gets covered on a near-daily basis, not as a special trip across town.
Do you handle strata and units in Fairfield?
Regularly, including the walk-up blocks scattered around the town centre near Fairfield Forum and Fairfield Chase. Access and owners corporation approval work differently to a standalone house, and we plan around that once we know.
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Yes, alongside the emergency side of what we do. Post-war housing being renovated often turns up plumbing that doesn't match modern standards, and cold winter snaps that push heating hard tend to expose those gaps fastest.
What suburbs do you service around Fairfield?
Canley Vale, Smithfield, Guildford, Cabramatta and Canley Heights, plus Fairfield itself.
